Trumann Little League to host opening ceremonies

The Trumann Little League will host its opening ceremony for the 2003 season, Monday, April 14 at the Fleming Fields, formerly the old Singer ball fields. The event will start at 5:30 p.m. Veterans and serving soldiers will be honored at the event.

Mayor Ronnie Harrison will give the welcome. Tad Rogers will give the invocation. American Legion Commander Ronnie Taylor will be the special speaker. Tommie Gairhan will sing the national anthem and the Trumann High Reserve Officers Training Corps will present the colors.

Little League players, coaches, t-ball teams and t-ball coaches will participate in the ceremony.

Baker Lumber Company and Liberty Glass South will provide American flags for the ceremony.
