Hazel Jewell Dycus
Hazel Jewell Dycus, 93, of Trumann passed away Thursday, July 1 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.
She was born in Bay and had lived most of her life in Trumann. She was a housewife and member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Trumann.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Herb Dycus; one daughter; two sons; three sisters; two brothers and her parents, Izza Ruth and Fronia Haddock Upton.
She is survived by three daughters, Wilma Lancaster of Westland, Mich., Betty Branch and Carolyn Fletcher of Trumann; one son, Melvin Dycus of Trumann; one brother, Roy Upton of Jonesboro; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were Saturday, July 3 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Paul Vincent, Rev. Bill Maxwell and Rev. Murray Ray officiating.
Pallbearers were Dale Teague, Calvin Rutherford, Buddy Helton, Donnie Smith, Charley Hicks and Gary May.
