Nellie Muriel Johnson

Nellie Muriel Johnson, 87, of Trumann, formerly of Lepanto, died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004 at Trumann Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trumann.

Born in Pleasant Plains, she had lived the past 49 years in Trumann. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Assembly of God in Trumann.

Survivors include her husband, Carmack Johnson of the home; two daughters, Louise Scrivener of Wichita, Kan., and Carnell Hooker of Trumann; and a granddaughter, Tara Hooker of Trumann.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Johnson; her parents; a sister and three brothers.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 13, 2004 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann, with the Rev. Donald Brown and the Rev. Freddie Wilbanks Jr. officiating. Burial followed in Potters Memorial Cemetery in Lepanto.

Nephews served as pallbearers.
