Master gardener sale

Roots of our Heritage, will be the theme for garden tours sponsored by the Craighead County Master Gardeners from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday May 21. Five separate gardens will feature a variety of plantings and styles, featuring sunny spots and shady nooks. Come and be inspired, touring at your leisure. Master Gardeners will be on hand at each location to aid in plant identification and answer questions. Each site has been created by the homeowners themselves and demonstrates a variety of ideas that visitors can adapt to their own yards.

All proceeds from the tickets go to the Craighead County Master Gardener ASU Horticulture Scholarship Fund. Tickets may be purchased at the Crowley's Ridge Nature Center, 600 E Lawson Rd, Jonesboro, 870 933 6787 or the Craighead County Cooperative Extension Service, 221 W Jackson St, Jonesboro, 870 933 4565.

One ticket will give you access to all five gardens, under 12 are free. On the day of the tours, tickets may be purchased at any of the homes: 625 Melody Lane, 1505 Linden, 2625 Woodsprings Rd, 3901 Clay Dr, 2304 Evelyn Lane.
