Cletis Elmo "Bo" Parrish
Cletis Elmo "Bo" Parrish, 83, of Trumann died Monday, August 1, 2005, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro of natural causes.
He was born in Trumann and had lived in Benton, Wash. before moving back to Trumann 34 years ago. He was retired from the military serving in the Air Force and World War II, and a deacon of the Maple Grove Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two sisters; four brothers and his parents, John Valentine and Mary Hannah Smith Parrish.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Parrish of the home; two daughters, Sharon Kelley of Acworth, Ga. And Barbara New of Trumann; three grandchildren, Victory Parish Kelley of Canton, Melanie Renee New of Jonesboro and Cletis James New of Trumann and two great-grandchildren, Christian Kelley of Canton and Autumn Renee New of Trumann.
Funeral services were today, Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial followed at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Harold Box, Bob Walton, Derek Walton, Larry Wray, Danny Pippinger and Marvin Massey. Honorary pallbearers are the Maple Grove Adult IV Men's Sunday school class.
Memorials can be made to the Maple Grove Baptist Church in Trumann.
