THS cafeteria gets school spirit make-over

Wednesday, January 10, 2007

Over the Christmas break, the Trumann Rotary Interact painted the high school cafeteria. The painters changed the red and blue stripes to Trumann Wildcat colors. The black and gold stripes add to the Wildcat spirit.

The doors entering the cafeteria were painted black. The painters included Karleen Sheets, Carol Waleszonia, Anna Glover, Kim Fritz, DeAnna Ballard, Trent Moody, Trenity Fritz, Lia Hendrix, Nathan Davidson, Lauren Jefferies, Ethan Glover, Kami Fritz, Trey Moody and Bailye Ballard.

The Trumann Rotary Interact will continue work on the cafeteria this summer. The plans include painting the walls light grey, the inside booth areas will have extra-curricular and sports pictures painted black or gold, and a Wildcat paw trail.

The group also wishes to put up an enclosed art showcase and bulletin boards on the wooden walls. Trumann Rotary Interact asks any Trumann High School Alumni wishing to support the art showcase and bulletin boards to make monetary donations to the Trumann Alumni association. Mail donations to: THS Alumni, c/o Effie Dungan, 117 Thelma St., Trumann, AR 72472. Thanks for all the support.
