Mary Aunita Gairhan
Mary Aunita Gairhan, 82, of Trumann died Sunday, April 1, 2007 at St. Elizabeth's Place in Jonesboro.
She was born in Bay and she had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a retired clerk from Riceland Foods in Jonesboro, worked for the Singer Company as a clerk in the model department for 35 years and was a member of the Viva Drive Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers and her parents, A.M. "Bunk" and Marie Manwaring Baker.
Survivors include her husband, Herman Gairhan of the home; two sons and their wives, Michael and Susie Gairhan of Trumann and Terry and Debbie Gairhan of Jonesboro; a sister, Myra Parrish of Trumann; a brother, Wayne Baker of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Christopher Gairhan, Emily Boyd, Micha Gairhan and Zachary Gairhan and one great-grandson, Grayson Gairhan.
Funeral services were Wednesday, April 4 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Bill Willard and Joe Spangler officiating. Burial followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers were David Gairhan, Scott Gairhan, Zachary Gairhan, Christopher Gairhan, Al Baker, Eddie Baker, Charles Gairhan and Matt Boyd.
Honorary pallbearers were Bob Farmer, Doug Stanley, Gail Grimes, Jerry McKinney, Joe Mitchell, Chase Montgomery and Max Smallwood.
