Brooks, Pankey announce engagement

Rev. Bobby and Regina Brooks of Trumann are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Andrea Brooks to Charles Pankey, the son of Doug and Lisa Pankey of Trumann.

The bride-elect is a 2006 honor graduate of Trumann High School and is currently a junior at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. She is pursuing a degree in biology. Afterwards she will continue her studies to become a pharmacist. She is employed at "Wear His Word" in Turtle Creek Mall in Jonesboro.

She is the granddaughter of Bennie and Viola Brooks of Trumann and Floyd and Pauline Hudgens of Searcy.

The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Trumann High School and is currently a sophomore at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. He is pursuing a degree in computer information science. He is employed at Lowe's in Jonesboro.

He is the grandson of Melvin and Doris Rice of Harrisburg and the late Charles and Betty Pankey of Trumann.

The wedding is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7 at Providence Baptist Church in Trumann with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall.

All friends and family are invited to attend.
