PCSO arrest report

Joseph Miller, 220 South Maple, Bay, was arrested on Jan. 5 and charged with possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Deputy Mark Robinson's report, he observed a 2001 four door Suzuki Esteem stopped in the roadway beside a red Ford van on Tulot Road. He observed Miller urinate in the road as a male got out of the van and into Miller's vehicle and a female got out of Miller's vehicle and into the van.

The vehicle left and Deputy Robinson followed, noticing a crack in the windshield. Deputy Robinson initiated a traffic stop as the vehicle pulled into a driveway on Old Payneway Lane. As Miller was providing insurance information, Deputy Robinson noted marijuana seeds on the carpet between the driver's door and seat. He searched the vehicle and found a set of digital scales between the front seats and a decorated green metal can in the rear passenger floor board. The can contained 15 separate bags of marijuana totaling approximately 95.3 grams, $50 cash, rolling papers, a smoking pipe made of deer antler and two containers of marijuana cigarette butts.

According to reports, Miller said the marijuana and scales were his. He was advised of his rights at 2:24 p.m.. He said he had purchased 1/4 pound of marijuana for $200 that day.
