Edna Moore Edwards

Edna Edwards, 82, of Marked Tree died May 16 at Three Rivers Nursing Center.

She was born in Tyronza and lived nearly her entire life in Marked Tree. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she was very active.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha Ann Watson of Marked Tree; sisters, Elizabeth Hawkins of Battle Creek, Mich., Catherine Thibodeaux of Los Angeles, Princella Crow of Texarkana, Texas, and Mary Jimerson of Wynne; grandson, Andre Watson and wife Phyllis; and great-grandchildren, Andrea and Corbin Watson, all of Jonesboro.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 24 at St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. G.C. Simpson officiating. Burial followed in Marked Tree Civic Cemetery under direction of Woodard Funeral Service.
