Preparation for Lions barbecue begins with the sauce

For over 30 years local residents have enjoyed the food and the camaraderie of the Annual Trumann Lions Club Barbecue. At the 2007 event, 2150 plates of barbecue, homemade slaw, baked beans, buns, and drinks were sold. Approximately 4,000 pounds of meat were slow cooked for the barbecue.
