Curtis Eudell Kent

Curtis Eudell Kent, 80 of Marked Tree died Monday, June 8, 2009, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Marked Tree. He was preceded in death by parents, Eudell

and Dovie Kent; wife Betty Kent; four sisters and one brother.

Survivors include daughter, Regina Clay of Marked Tree; sisters Betty Jo Allen of Wynne, Penny Uptmor of Texas City, Texas, Wanda Prater of West Memphis, Barbara Harris of Payneway, Pat Harris of Marked Tree and Martha Howard of Marked Tree; grandchildren, Mitzi Malone and Stephanie Davis; great grandchildren, Kent Gray, James Douglas Davis, Clay Malone and Hayden Malone.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 10 with Al Presley officiating and Patrick Tucker assisting.

Active pallbearers are Donald Max Blagg, Craig Harris, Jason McDonald, Jason Wilson, Ricky Strange, and Chris Tacker. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Blagg, Gene Strange, Thomas Strange, Charles Strange, Bobby Phillips,Darrell Broadway, Billy Jennings, Bill Barnett and Ellis Hill.

Burial will follow in Marked Tree Cemetery under the direction of Murphy Funeral Home

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
