Trumann's 14s to play in world series next month

The Trumann 14's will be playing in the World Series games scheduled for July

15 to 20 in Liberty, Mo. To help with the expenses of the trip, they have several fund raisers going including a tournament this weekend at Fleming Field in Trumann.

The team will also be selling Boston Butts from Whole Hog for $25, Trumann Wildcat T-shirts for $12 and will have a car wash at Wal-Mart on Saturday, June 27.

They will also be holding raffles for various items including:

* St. Louis Cardinal Package which features - tickets to the game, hotel stay for 1-night, $50.00 gas card, meals. ($3 per ticket or three tickets for $5)

* Ladies Package which includes - two months free from Fitness Boot Camp; Studio J Gift Card; Mane Attractions Gift Card; Movie Passes; Mani-Pedi From Arkansas Academy; Premiere Jewelry. ($5 per ticket or three tickets for $10)

* Men's Package which includes - Muzzleloader Gun; Hammer time gift package; Duck Mount; Deer Processing. ($5 per ticket or three tickets for $10)

The team has received several donations from various businesses. Further donations can be made to Deena Collins at Unico bank or through the Trumann Chamber of Commerce Web site.
