Jonesboro Northside Park to host tournament

The Jonesboro Northside Sports Complex is hosting the "Northeast Arkansas Youth Baseball Championship Tournament" from Friday, June 19 through Monday, June 22.

The tournament format calls for pool play to seed a single elimination tournament which will give each team at least three games.

The tournament is scheduled to have 8u, 10u, 12u and 14u divisions of play with a champion being crowned in each category. Teams will be hitting their own baseballs.

Entry fee is $150 with Tuesday, June 16 set as registration cutoff. The tournament is a MASM supervised event, but is a fund raiser for the Northside Sports Complex and the programs hosted there.
