Area teams featured in Hooten's Arkansas Football magazine

Thursday, July 2, 2009
All four Poinsett County football teams have been picked to finish in the middle of their respective conference packs.

Trumann, the largest school in the county, was voted as the fifth place team by the 4A-3 conference coaches while both Harrisburg and Marked Tree were selected to finish in fourth position in the 3A-3 and 2A-3 respectively.

EPC had the best showing among coaches, conference wise, with a third place positioning in the 2A-3.

Hooten's is in its 17th year of providing coverage for the state's high schools. The 432 page book offers the most comprehensive preseason football coverage in Arkansas. It features Arkansas Razorback quarterbacks Ryan Mallett and Tyler Wilson as well as ASU quarterback Cory Leonard and running back Reggie Arnold on the bi-fold cover.

The publication offers an in-depth preview of the Razorbacks and the SEC as well as ASU and the SBC. Also, every other state university is previewed as well as all the 120 Division I college teams in America.

The Razorbacks are picked to finish fourth in the SEC and are ranked No. 31 nationally while ASU came in at the 75th position in the nation.

Hooten's is available at most retail outlets in the state except for Wal-Mart and may be ordered online at hootens.com.
