Craighead & Poinsett County Little League selects All-Stars

The Craighead and Poinsett County Little League recently announced the players selected for it's eleven and twelve year old all-star teams. Players selected for the12 year old team were as follows: Braden Stewart, Caleb Keating, Mathew Jowers, Dylan Motes, Jacob Sutton, Nash Thomas, Rex Peevey, Nick Hall, Ash Pulliam, C.J. Neal, Andy Warren, Conner Shannon and Grayson Hall. Two 11 year old teams were selected to include the following players: Team one- Stabler Waddell, Clayton Bridger, Colton Clifft, Drew Roberson, Andrew Best, Adam Horn, Nick Hilson, Jake Mathis, Datoka Lee, Westley Wright, Anthony Hopper, Christian Watson and Trey Smith. Team two- Aaron Scales, Blake Daniels, Braden Wilson, Clay Malone, Corey Seehaver, Grant Johnson, John T. Schwarz, Kyler Gordon, Logan Davis and Taylor Wilson.

These players will represent the league in the up coming district tournaments as wll as other tournaments including, the Twelve's, On the Road to Williamsport and the Little League "World Series" which is aired nationally in August each year. District play for the 12's begins Saturday July 4 at Blytheville while the 11's stay at home, their tournament beginning Friday, July 10.
