TRUMANN -- Jimmy W. King, 62, of Trumann departed this life Friday afternoon, Sept. 18, at Jonesboro.

He was born Sept. 14, 1947, at Harrisburg, the son of William King and Lura Smith King. He was a former employee of Roach Manufacturing in Trumann and of the Pentecostal faith.

Jimmy married Peggy Howley on Oct. 12, 1973, and they enjoyed 36 years together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lura King.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy King of the home; three sisters, Linda Keeton, Eula Cleveland and Mary Bryant, all of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 in the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel at Harrisburg with the Rev. Eugene Bogard officiating. Interment followed in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery.
