Youth arrested, charged with Weiner teen's death

An unnamed teenager was arrested last Wednesday and charged with the manslaughter death of Miles Greeno, 15, also of Weiner.

Arkansas State Police agents arrested the teen after a two week investigation into the death.

Greeno was found inside a vehicle near St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Labor Day, Sept. 7 with a gunshot wound to the head.

Police had originally ruled the death accidental, saying the gun was fired while three other teens were in the car.

None of the information uncovered which led to the teen's arrest was released.

Poinsett County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Martin Lilly said the investigation had been a through one involving the cooperation of various state and local agencies.

According to Lilly, the case will be filed in the Juvenile Division of Circuit Court.

He added that the investigation is ongoing and details will be released as is warranted and allowed.
