Ionia Louise Chapman

Ionia Louise Chapman, 82, of Tyronza died Monday, Oct. 5 at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born May 28, 1927 in Marked Tree, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Laster and Sylvia Beebe; one grandson, Eric Baker; and one granddaughter, Stacy Lemmons.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Ivy of Marked Tree and Pat Baker of Jonesboro; four sons: Gerald Jarvis of Memphis, Paul Jarvis of Trumann and James "Jim" Chapman and David Chapman, both of Tyronza; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6 -- 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Tyronza Cemetery.
