Much to be thankful for

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. As I look around and count my blessings, God has truly blessed me with a loving family, supportive friends and good health.

I asked a few locals what they were thankful for this year. Angela Vaughn of Lepanto said she was thankful for God and a wonderful family.

"I am blessed with a great family, wonderful friends, fun co-workers, but mostly my kids...sometimes," said Pamela Hopkins of Marked Tree.

"I am grateful for my family and for God healing my mother of breast cancer," said Jake Pilgrim of Lepanto.

"I am thankful for being cancer free and having a healthy family," said Tina Webb of Marked Tree.

Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are all called to live in peace. And always be thankful."
