Judy Ann Copping

Judy Ann Copping, 58, of Ward, passed away Nov. 22, 2009.

She will be missed and remembered always for her smile and compassion and her

ability to make life interesting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Esta Bennett; four brothers, Paul, Jack, Dale and Ray Bennett; and a nephew whom she loved as a brother, George Bennett.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Copping of Ward; daughter, Kimberly Bennett Meyer Bryan) of Metairie, La.; three grandchildren, Mallori and Emilee Timbs and Megan Meyer; sisters, Helen Austin of Monette and Evelyn Spruell of Benton

Harbor, Mich.; sisters-in-laws, whom she loved as sisters, Dixie Bennett and Marilyn Bennett; many nieces and nephews and two cats, Indy and Gabby who never left her side.

Funeral services were held in New Orleans and a Catholic burial service

followed in Greenwood Cemetery with Murphy Funeral Home in Marked Tree in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude in Memphis.
