Taylor Wayne McPherson

Taylor Wayne "Punk City" "Tmac" McPherson, 16 of Trumann died Friday at the Med in Memphis, Tennessee. Taylor was born in Jonesboro, Ark., and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was a 10th grader at Trumann High School, played football and basketball and loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann.

Survivors include his parents, Greg McPherson of Trumann; Stacy Nance Brooks and husband Terry of Bay, Ark.; two sisters, Skylar Byerly of Bay and Abby Hatcher of Trumann; two brothers, Morgan Snow of Bay and Gary Austin White of Trumann; grandparents, Barry and Sharon Morgan of Trumann, Bobby and Alice McPherson of Trumann and Jerry Nance of Evening Shade.

Funeral services were Tuesday in the Trumann Intermediate School Auditorium on Pine Street in Trumann with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Burial followed in Macedonia Cemetery in Jonesboro with Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jimmy Creecy, Lee Forbus, Bubba Blackwood, Zach Vinson, Dustin Miller, Tyler Renshaw, Bridger Benson and Exavier Nixon. Honorary pallbearers were Greg White, Nick Richardson, Steve Edwards, Skip Dulaney, Marty Valance, Anthony Renshaw, Timmy Renshaw and Luis Gutierrez.
