Ted Secrease

Ted Secrease, 79, of Trumann died Friday, Dec. 18 at Wynne Healthcare Center in Wynne.

He was born in Harrisburg and lived in Trumann for the past 15 years coming from Georgia. He was a retired electrician, veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Pentecostal faith.

Secrease was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Secrease; three sisters, three brothers and his parents, Samuel and Ollie Holloway Secrease.

Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Osland of Whitefish, Mont., Marsha Steele of Lake St. Louis, Mo., and Lisa Smith of Savannah, Ga.; three sons, Mike Secrease of Helena, Mont., Danny Secrease of Belt, Mont., and Ted Secrease of Kokomo, Ind.; one sister, Wanda Lee Secrease of Wynne; four brothers, Clay Secrease of Trumann, Roy Secrease of Jonesboro, Neal Secrease of Evansville, Ind., and Harold Secrease of Little Rock, AR; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 21 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Larry Tribble officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro.

Active Pallbearers were Durane Walters, Keith Blasingame, Gary England, Jamie Prince, Henry Secrease, Leroy May, Mike Secrease and Ralph Strevin.

Honorary Pallbearers were Roy Ed Secrease, Barbara Jones, Belle Spaulding and Hazel Willey.
