"They play an up and down style," said Trumann coach Skip Dulaney. "They played about 15 people, switching out every two minutes or so. We got tired but held on for the win."
Trumann led 32-15 after the first period thanks in large part to Richie Tharp who finished with 36 points including six treys.
Steven Williams contributed in a huge way by grabbing a school record 25 rebounds for the Cats. Williams also had 10 points and eight assists in the non-conference victory.
"Williams, Prince and Tharp did great giving us senior leadership," concluded Dulaney.
