Katie Jo Hollimon

Katie Jo Hollimon, 90, of Trumann, died January 21, 2010 at NEA Baptist hospital in Jonesboro. Hollimon was born in Gregory, AR to King and Dellie Lincoln. She was raised in a loving, big family and raised her own family with the same loving devotion. She was a member of New Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church in Trumann.

Hollimon was preceded in death by her husband Frank Hollimon, three sons, four daughters, six sisters, and five brothers.

Survivors who will cherish wonderful memories include her sons, Chester Hollimon of Omaha, Neb. and Joe Hollimon of Everett, Wash.; her daughters, Sammie Guy of Joilet, Ill. and Merlyn Jones of Trumann; her sister, Jimmie Lee Wortham of Los Angeles, Calif.; fifty-nine grandchildren, seventy great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 at the Trumann Community Center in Trumann, with Rev. Franklin Lockhart officiating.

Burial will follow in Judd Hill Cemetery at Judd Hill, Ark. under the direction of Woodard Funeral Service in Marked Tree.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the funeral home in Marked Tree.
