HOT SPRINGS - Mrs. Joyce Ann Carroll Brindley, 53, of Hot Springs died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, in Jacksonville, Ark., from injuries received in a one car accident.

Mrs. Brindley was born in Harrisburg, Ark., and had lived in Hot Springs for the past five years and was formerly of Trumann. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Brindley was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Son" Holt, and one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Brindley of the home; one daughter, Tonya Johnson of Bay; one son, Adam Carroll of Hot Springs; her mother and step-father, Joyce and Frank Hamby of Trumann; two sisters, Donna Laire and Bonnie Winkles, both of Trumann; two brothers, Robert Holt and Ronnie Holt, both of Trumann, and two grandchildren, Deanna and Devin Johnson.

Funeral service was at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Keith Barr officiating. Burial followed in the Holly Springs Cemetery near Harrisburg, Ark.

Active pallbearers were Steve Brindley, James Brindley, Ricky Winkles Jr., Buddy Richards, Andrew Reeves, Norman Williams, Steven Elrod and Shane McKenzie.

Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Winkles and Kevin Holt.

Visitation was Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
