Open Arms Ministry has reopened its doors in Trumann after a brief shutdown.

Johnny Barns, director of the program, said Open Arms Ministry is open to anyone in the community who is experiencing addiction and would like help dealing with their addiction.

"We meet every Tuesday night at seven," said Barns. "And anyone who has an addiction of any kind, whether drug or alcohol, is welcome to attend. The meeting is set up like a support group."

The meeting takes place in the fellowship hall at the Church of God of Prophesy, located on Christy Street Extended. The meeting is lead by pastor Larry Treble.

"We want to help restore people to a life without addiction," said Barns. "Our principle is to teach that God is always first and family always comes next."
