TRUMANN - Mr. Bobby C. Lawrence, 73, of Trumann died Saturday night at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

He was born in Etowah to the late Albert and Jessie Lee (Jenkins) Lawrence. Mr. Lawrence was a Korean War Veteran, and he spent most of his life in Trumann, where he enjoyed fishing, his grandchildren and aggravating those he loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Cathleen Lawrence; two brothers, and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alline Lawrence (Byerly ) of the home; daughters, Donna Plunk of Otwell, Teresa Boone of Paragould and Debra Henry of Trumann; two sisters, Sheila Carter of Wynne and Linda K. Pipkin of Trumann; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Burial was private.

Pallbearers were Junior Manley, Frankie Yeakey, Tommy Plunk, Melton Jr. and Patrick Byerly, Paul Barkley Rains Jr. and James and David Moore.

Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 12 noon until service time at Thompson Funeral Home.
