TRUMANN - Mr. Toney Dewayne Busby, 44, of Trumann died Thursday, March 15, 2012, at the family residence.

Mr. Busby was born and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. He was a retired employee of the Craighead County Sheriff's Department, former editor of the Trumann Democrat and was a member of the Northeast Arkansas Baptist Church in Trumann.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mornay and Stoney Busby, and one aunt, Shelia Mitchell.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Dillinger Busby of the home; one son, Bo Hickey II and wife Samantha of Trumann; one granddaughter, Olivia Leigh Hickey of Trumann; his mother, Dottie Jean Busby of Trumann; one brother, John Hicks of Trumann, and one aunt, Regina Etter of Trumann.

A celebration of his life was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. John Dillinger officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Steven Hammell, Ronnie Dye, Tony Clem, Rick Dillinger, Steve Etter, Jonathan Skaggs, Roy Warden, Rickey Dillinger, Larry Rogers, Danny Jarrett, James Reeves, Terry Mitchell, Marcus Mitchell, Marshall Poole and Blake Barnett.

The family received friends Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Eastside Baptist Church, 513 East Speedway in Trumann.
