Indians shut out Harrisburg
Jagger McCrary pitched a one-hitter this past Tuesday as the Marked Tree Indians shut out the Harrisburg Hornets 13-0 in high school baseball action in Marked Tree.
The Indians (23-7) were led offensively by Bryant Anderson who collected three hits on the day with six RBIs. Dylan Hunt had two hits and two RBIs, Taylor Wages finished with two hits and scored three runs and Gunner Pitts had two hits, three runs and two stolen bases.
Pitts two stolen bases gives him 50 on the season and puts him five behind the state single season record of 55. Aaron Fowler of Cross County set the state record in 2000.
McCrary pitched all five innings striking out four and walking one.
