Don E. Halfacre
Mr. Don E. Halfacre, Jr., of Trumann departed this life Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at his home at the age of 48.
He was born Dec. 5, 1963, in Blytheville, Ark. Don was a member of the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann and enjoyed collecting keychains and movies. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.
He married Angelia Brown on Feb. 14, 1987, and they enjoyed 25 years together.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Arvle Wooldridge, and a sister, Michelle Clark Patman.
Don is survived by his wife, Angelia Brown Halfacre of the home; his mother, Jean Clark Casey and her husband George of Elizabethton, Tenn.; three daughters, Janaya Shleweet of Marion, Andrea Halfacre and Donele Halfacre, both of Trumann; a brother, James Halfacre of Trumann; a sister, Linda Kemp of Huntingburg, Ind., and three grandchildren, Keegan Woods, Tanner West and Arvel Jackson West.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the Providence Baptist Church in Trumann with Rev. Bobby Brooks officiating.
Tarek Shleweet, Paul West, Toby Hill, Kevin Frye, Rockey Kelly, Daniel Harmon, Justin Spires and Joey Abbott served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Casey Owens, Gary Milton, Matthew West, Keegan Woods, Tanner West and Arvel Jackson West.
Interment followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors. Gregg-Weston Funeral Home of Harrisburg was in charge of arrangements.
