Phyllis LaVonne Rousseau

Mrs. Phyllis LaVonne Rousseau, 78, of Trumann died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born in Boone, Iowa, and had lived in Trumann since 1996 and was formerly of Iowa and Illinois. She was a retired nurse and member of the Eastside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rousseau was preceded in death by her husband, Vaughn Rousseau, two brothers, one sister, and her parents, George Huxford and Gladys Lorene Bacon Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Richard Morgan of Los Angeles, Calif., and William Scott Morgan and wife Vickie of Trumann; four grandchildren, William Scott Morgan Jr., Dawn Ann Morgan and Michelle Marie Morgan, all of Chicago, Ill., and Nathan Morgan of Los Angeles, Calif.

Funeral service were May 29, 2012, in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann, Ark., with Rev. Kenny McMahan officiating. Burial followed in the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark.

Memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church in Trumann.
