Billie Jo Cook
TRUMANN -- Mrs. Billie Jo Cook, 79, of Trumann passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Trumann Health & Rehabilitation. She was born in Clarksville, Ark., and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann and was formerly of Marked Tree. Mrs. Cook was a former office assistant of Singer Co. in Trumann and was an employee of Cedar Park Cafeteria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everet Riley and Ruth Ardella Bullock, two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, John F. Cook Jr. of the home two; sons Johnny Lee Cook (Kay) of Trumann and Gary Wayne Cook (Debbie) of Trumann; one brother, Tommy Earl Bullock; four sisters, Marie Coats, Bobbie Sue Snell, Beverly Ann "Toni" Williams and Betty Lou Qualls; four grandchildren, Eric Cook, Jason Cook (Mandy), Tia Milligan and Zachary Cook, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Aug. 3 at the First Baptist Church in Trumann with Dr. Tad Rogers officiating. Burial was at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann in charge.
Active pallbearers were Zachary Cook, Eric Cook, Jason Cook and Tim Cook. Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandchildren, Chase Cook, Hayden Cook, Noah Milligan, Gavin Milligan and Kai Davis.
