TRUMANN -- Mr. Larry "Bear" Lively, of Trumann, Ark., departed this life Saturday morning, Aug. 4, 2012, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, at the age of 60. He was born Jan. 26, 1952, in Harrisburg, the son of Bonnie Elwood Lively and Nellie Lucille Barnes Lively. He married Joyce Eckleberry in June 1975 and they enjoyed 37 years together. Larry was a factory worker most of his life and enjoyed playing the piano. He was of the Pentecostal faith and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He lived in Illinois from 1967 until 2008 and moved to the Trumann area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Billy Ray Lively and Bobby Joe Lively, and a half sister, Amanda Jean Lively.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lively of the home; three daughters, Jamie Wray and her husband Donnie of Jonesboro, Jessica Lively and her significant other Chris of Trumann, and Jennifer Jones and her husband James of Trumann; four grandchildren, Sara Skeels, James McLoud, Maddisyn Jones, and Luke Jones, and his two pets, Sissy and Sprinkles.

Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg with Rev. Mike Powell and Rev. Anthony Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Chad Rose, Jr., Jonathan Rose, James Floyd, Jr., Nicky Rhodes, Lee Forbes and Greg Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Ingram, Jerry Bowman, Johnny Barnes, Jerry Barnes and Billy Moore.

Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
