Danny Kay Laden
LEPANTO - Danny Kay Laden, 64, of Lepanto passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 in Memphis, Tenn. Mr. Laden was born Jan. 3, 1948 in Etowah to Luther and Pearl Laden. He served in Vietnam while in the United States Army. He was a retired construction worker and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Emma Laden; and one brother, Bill Laden.
Mr. Laden is survived by two daughters, Amanda Webb of Bartlett, Tenn., and Karen (Alan) Drobeck of Olive Branch, Miss.; two stepdaughters, Dawn Soto of Jonesboro and Rhonda McVay of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; son Danny Bruce Laden of Lepanto; two stepsons, Bruce McVay of Lepanto and Larry McVay of Howell, Mich.; sisters, Mary Russell, Lilly Prince, Cathy Tyler and Linda Laden, all of Arkansas; brothers Othie Laden of Missouri, George Laden, Junior Laden, Jimmy Laden, Fredlee Laden, Bobby Laden and Rickey Laden, all of Arkansas; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 15, at the revival Center in Lepanto with Bro. Darrel Nooner officiating. Mr. Laden was buried in the Potter Cemetery at Lepanto. Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza was in charge of arrangements.
