Boys

Mookie Sturdivant scored 30 points and Malik Monk added 26 points as the EPC Warriors downed Augusta last Thursday in Lepanto. The Warriors picked up their second win of the week as the downed Riverside 78-57 in Lake City this past Tuesday. Sturdivant and Monk combined for 51 points in the game as Sturdivant led with 32 and Monk scored 19.

The Junior Warriors also won both their games. They downed Augusta 49-30 and Riverside 35-24.

Weiner had four players score in double digits as the Cardinals beat Maynard in a 1A-3 conference match up last Thursday in Weiner. Alex Nicholson led the Cardinals with 13 points, Asa Walker and Logan Bray both added 11 points and Alex Jones chipped in 10 points. Weiner got another win over Southland, MO this past Tuesday by a score of 54-28. Nicholson scored 11 points for Weiner and Walker added 10 points.

Harrisburg travelled to Piggott this past Monday and was dealt a 69-48 loss by the Mohawks. Nathan Neal led the Hornets with 11 points.

Trumann had three players in double figures but it wasn't enough as the visiting Brookland Bearcats came away with a 60-52 win. Nate Maxwell led Trumann with 17 points, Cameron Jones and A.J. Winningham scored 15 and 11 points respectively for the Wildcats.

The Junior Wildcats lost their game 37-22.

Girls

Harrisburg got 18 points from Kellie Simpson and 13 points from Kiley Howton as the Lady Hornets beat Osceola 50-40 last Thursday in Harrisburg. The Lady Hornets continued their winning ways as they hosted Trumann this past Monday beating the Lady Wildcats 37-36. Kiley Howton scored 21 points for the Lady Hornets.

Marked Tree's Lady Indians visited McCrory last Thursday and used Poohnu Perry's 15 points and 12 steals to down their hosts 63-31.

Teria Young had a game high 24 points for the Lady Warriors of EPC as they downed Augusta 59-53 last Thursday night. Alicia Ross added 21 points and 12 rebounds for EPC. The Lady Warriors were on the road in Lake City this past Monday as the beat Riverside 52-44. Young again led in scoring with 26 points while Ross added 22 points for EPC.

The Junior Lady Warriors lost a close game to Augusta 34-31 and fell to Riverside 26-17.

The Lady Weiner Cardinals hosted Maynard last Thursday and got double digit efforts from four player to post a 60-49 victory. Peyton Craft led the charge with 22 points, Allegra Melton tossed in 13 points while Kaci Mack and Lexi Smith both had 10 points.

Maynard downed the Junior Lady Cardinals 36-33.

Bay got 39 points from Hannah Willard as the Lady Yellowjackets squeaked out a 62-59 at Hillcrest last Friday night. Willard also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Hillcrest downed the Lady Junior Yellowjackets 26-17.
