CHERRY VALLEY - Mr. Jose Carmen Arreguin-Juarez, of Cherry Valley, departed this life Jan. 2, 2013, at his home at the age of 48. He was born July 16, 1964, in Apaseo el Alto, Mexico, the son of Leandro Juarez and Angelina Arreguin Juarez. Jose moved to the United States in 1993 and has been the maintenance supervisor at Goose Farms in Cherry Valley for the past 10 years. He loved singing and fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrement Catholic Church in Jonesboro.

He is survived by his wife, Irma Giron Juarez of the home; his father, Leandro Juarez of Mexico; his mother, Angelina Arreguin Juarez of Cherry Valley; three daughters, Ana Aquilar and her husband Jose of Jonesboro, Maria Juarez and Carmen Juarez, both of Cherry Valley; one son, Gaspar Juarez of Gainesville, Texas; two brothers, Adrian Juarez of Mexico and Enedina Juarez of Pilot Point, Texas; three sisters, Isidra Vega of Harrisburg, Sara Giron of Memphis, and Angelina Rodrigues of Florida; four grandchildren, Jazmin Aquilar, Gaspar Juarez, Yovanny Juarez and Jacob Juarez. Funeral services were Jan. 6 at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Jonesboro Memorial Park. A Rosary Service followed the Saturday evening visitation. Pallbearers included Gaspar Juarez, Clemente Aguilar, Jose Aquilar, Salvador Vega, Jose Giron and Filligonio Giro. Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
