Boys

Bay downed Crowley's Ridge Academy 72-50 last Friday night at Bay in boys' high school basketball action. Tyson Oliver led four players in double figures in scoring with 21 points. Zach Johnson added 15 points, Matt Holt netted 11 points and Dylan Loven finished with 10 points for the Yellowjackets.

Bay won the junior high game 62-26.

Malik Monk hit eight three-pointers on his way to 38 points on the night as EPC handed Rector a 78-50 loss this past Friday in Rector. Mookie Sturdivant added 25 points for EPC.

EPC won the junior boys' game 39-33.

Harrisburg got 12 points from Brayden Honeycutt as the Hornets posted a 40-32 3A-3 conference win over Corning this past Friday night at Harrisburg.

Harrisburg's junior boys won 32-26.

Marked Tree picked up a 73-67 conference win over BIC this past Friday night in Marked Tree. Allen Buchanan led the Indians with 19 points as Darius Ivy scored 17 points and Daniel Rucker added 10 points for Marked Tree.

Marked Tree won the junior high game 48-47.

Trumann fell to Pocahontas 62-61 as the Redskins hit a shot at the buzzer for the win. Cameron Jones led all scorers on the night with 24 points. Nathan Maxwell scored 13 points and Denzel Brown chipped in 11 for the Wildcats.

Pocahontas won the junior boys' game 45-19.

Harrisburg hosted Hoxie this past Tuesday and was handed a 52-38 defeat by the Mustangs. Alec Whitt scored 11 points for the Hornets.

Hoxie won the junior high game 30-27.

Allen Buchanan scored 26 points for the Marked Tree Indians as they handed the visiting McCrory Jaguars a 64-41 loss.

The Junior Indians won their game 60-47.

Girls

Marked Tree's Lady Indians used a big fourth period to down BIC 58-55 in girls' high school basketball action this past Thursday in Marked Tree. The Lady Indians outscored BIC 30-18 in the fourth. Poohnu Perry led the Lady Indians with 24 points, Lexi Perry scored 16 points and Jay Perry chipped in 10 points for Marked Tree.

BIC won the junior high game 40-16.

Alicia Ross tossed in 25 points and Teria Young finished with 22 points as the EPC Lady Warriors posted a 64-57 win over Rector in a 2A-3 conference match up this past Thursday night in Rector.

Rector won the junior girls' game 30-29.

Trumann got 16 points for Kelly Guthrie and 10 points from Deserea Harris but that wasn't enough as the Lady Wildcats fell to Valley View 65-44 in 4A-3 conference play.

Valley View also won the junior high game 51-20.

Marked Tree had four players score in double figures as the Lady Indians beat McCrory 61-21 this past Monday in girls' basketball action. Jay Perry totaled 14 points, Lexi Perry finished with 13 points and added 11 rebounds, Peyton Carter added 11 points and Poohnu Perry scored 10 points for Marked Tree.

Weiner's Lady Cardinals fell 60-57 to Cedar Ridge on a late score this past Monday in Weiner. Peyton Craft led Weiner in scoring with 18 points. Allegra Melton scored 16 points and Kaci Mack added 12 for Weiner.

Weiner won the junior girls' game 38-14.
