Diamond Notes: Baseball season is in full swing

Bay travelled to Black Rock for their season opener this past Friday and got a no-hit, 15 strike out performance from Kail Harris. The Yellowjackets won 7-3.

Dylan Rush had three hits for Bay including two doubles as Zack Johnson added two hits.

Harris issued seven walks on the day.

Trumann fell to West Memphis 4-2 this past Friday at West Memphis.

Taylor Wilson led the Wildcats offensively collecting three hits, a run scored and a RBI. Cameron Jones and Jay-Ryan Woods had Trumann's other two hits. Jones added a run scored.

Nate Maxwell started on the mound and went four innings giving up one run on one hit while walking two with no strikeouts. Woods came on in relief and was tagged with the loss as he gave up three runs on three hits. Woods walked five and struck out two.
