TRUMANN - Mr. Junior Bell "J.B." Morris, 83, of Trumann died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark. He was born in Bassett, Ark., to the late Jim and Carrie Watson Morris and had lived in Trumann for the past 42 years and was formerly of Indiana. Mr. Morris owned and operated Morris Service Station for 15 years and was a member of Alsup Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Morris, Sr., one great-grandson Cody Austin Banks, two sisters, three brothers and his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annie Ruth Jones Morris, two daughters Judy Roberson of Indianapolis, Ind., and Margaret Blasingame of Trumann, two sons, Larry Morris of Trumann and Jerry Morris of Greenfield, Ind., 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann with Rev. Leon Minick and Rev. Jim Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Ark.

Pallbearers will be Jack Layton, Glenn Banks, Tim Cooper, Dan Scott, Ricky Jones and Shorty Jones.

Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.
