Trumann holds football Kick-Off

Trumann held it's Football Kick-Off this last Friday night at Wildcat Field. All the football teams, from pee wee to varsity, were in action. Recognition was given to those who excelled in academics and three individuals were honored for their contributions to the school and athletics.

George Duboise was honored for his 28 years of service as manager of the Trumann Wildcats, Jeff Jones was honored for being a board member for 17 years and Dennis Morgan was honored for being booster club president for over 30 years.

Recognition of students proficient and advanced for fourth-eighth grade on the benchmark and recognition of students proficient and advanced for ninth-grade benchmark, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology and Literacy.

Michael Reese of Speedway Sales Golf Carts donated a golf cart all decked out in Wildcat colors and logos to Trumann Athletics to be used at the ball games.
