EPC, Trumann hit the road

The EPC Warriors ran their record to 2-0 by beating Manila 54-6 last Friday night in Manila. Offensively for the Warriors, Trevor McDaniel rushed for 149 yards on 17 carries and one touchdown. Byron Scales, Tristan McDaniel and T.J. Young all had a rushing touchdown. Aaron Scales completed five of his eight pass attempts for 90 yards and three touchdown passes. McKenzie Betts, Quinn Young and Seth Lacy each had a touchdown reception. On the defensive side, EPC held the Lions to 68 yards total offense as Zach Maddox led the way with 16 tackles on the night. Maddox also forced a fumble and blocked a punt. The Warriors forced five fumbles and recovered three of them and had 12 tackles for a loss on the night.

Trumann travelled to Nettleton last Friday and lost to the Raiders 47-0. A.J. Winningham led the offense with 54 yards on 12 carries. Cody Byram had six tackles on the defensive side for the Wildcats.
