Haunted Sector comes to Trumann

Monday, October 28, 2013
The Trumann Parks and Recreation Department encourages everyone to come out to the Haunted Sector to hear the full story of Jagger's life and death.

Jaggers, a frightening clown, will no longer be the main event of the Trumann Haunted Sector with his circus, CarnEvil; however, before his farewell, the Trumann Parks and Recreation department want to expose participants to the full story behind the clown at this year's event.

This year, the theme of the Haunted Sector is Darkness Falls. The spook fest will be held at the TRC Building at the Trumann Sports Complex, 16179 Pecan Grove Lane.

Jaggers was born in 1864 to gruesomely disturbed parents. With an unpleasant face and family, the boy was mistreated most of his life by many of the townspeople. After the mysterious disappearance and death of his mother and father, Jaggers was placed in a mental institution.

Five short years later, he escaped and formed CarnEvil shortly afterwards. The Haunted Sector will allow participants to explore the birth, life and even death of the clown.

Darkness Falls is not the only spook at the Haunted Sector. On Friday and Saturday nights, the scary gets scarier with a blackout. For the fortunate that survive the haunted house and the blackout, a ride through a trail full of grueling terror awaits.

The scare times are:

Wednesday, Oct. 23--7 until 10 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 24--7 until 10 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 25--7 until 10 p.m, Blackout--10:30 p.m.-?

Saturday, Oct. 26--7 until 10 p.m, Blackout--10:30 p.m.-?

Wednesday, Oct. 30--7 until 10 p.m, Blackout--10:30 p.m.-?

Thursday, Oct. 31--7 until 10 p.m, Blackout--10:30 p.m.-?

The Haunted Sector will be handicap accessible for anyone in a wheelchair this year. Anyone wanting tickets or more information may call (870) 483-5355. Tickets are available at the mayor's office and will be available at the door.
