Trumann (1-7, 0-5 4A-3) and Brookland needed an overtime period to settle things this past Friday night at Wildcat Field. The Bearcats stopped the Wildcats two-point conversion try to come away with a 40-38 victory. Grayson Dye, who replaced an injured Justin Liles, ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns for Trumann. Willie Moore finished the night with 149 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Cain White led the Wildcats with nine tackles. Heston O'Brien had eight and a half tackles which included five and half for a loss. Stoney Chandler had five and a half tackles for the Wildcats.

Marked Tree (5-3, 3-2 2A-3) got down 24-8 at halftime and couldn't muster a comeback this past Friday in McCrory as the Jaguars handed the Indians a 32-14 loss. Kedrick Tyler led the Marked Tree rushing attack with 40 yards on only three carries. Blake Daniels and Bailey Gilbert each had a rushing touchdown. Brody McCrary competed 12 of 22 passes for 152 yards with one interception. Daniel Rucker hauled in three passes for 56 yards for the Indians.
