ST. PETERSBURG -- Betty Jo Nash Woodruff, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Feb. 14, 2014 by her loving daughter's side following a long battle with COPD. Mrs. Woodruff was born in Lepanto to Annie Lee and Ralph Nash. She is survived by her husband Wilford Woodruff, daughter Linda Dennis of St. Petersburg, Fla., one brother Bobby Nash, and a very special dog, Wiley. She was a woman of faith with a huge love for her family and friends.
A celebration of life was held at the Brandon Assembly of God Church in Brandon, Fla. on Feb. 20. A monument will be placed in Potter Cemetery in Lepanto in her honor. In lieu of flowers her family asks that a memorial be made to the Assembly of God Building Fund, 710 S. Kings Avenue, Brandon, FL 33511. She loved her church and all of her friends that have comforted her for many years. This was her wish.
