LUNSFORD -- Charles E. Rodgers of Lunsford died April 28, 2014 at the age of 73. He was born in Heber Springs to the late Lola and Leonard Rodgers of Trumann. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Janice Rodgers of the home; four sons, C. Victor (Cathie) Rodgers of Lunsford, Tony Rodgers of Trumann, Steven (Leighann) Rodgers of Trumann and Donnie (Patty) Johnston of Elkhart, Ind.; three daughters, Angela Johnston of Elkhart, Ind., Kristina (Jeffrey) Wallace of Callaway, Fla., and Gayla (Anthony) Greer of Trumann; one brother James Rodgers of Trumann; five sisters, Nelda Shinn of Silver Springs, Fla., Jackie Geans of Elkhart, Ind., JoAnn Wade of Elkhart, Ind., Joyce Stewart of Lunsford, and Deborah Meeks of Trumann; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; Lamar Millus of Ellsinore, Mo.; and Renee Tolbert of Trumann, who he considered an adopted daughter.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 3 at the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Trumann with Apostle Shelby Shelton officiating. Lasting memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
