ROGERS -- Terry Lee Parkes Jones, 70, of Rogers (Benton County), died April 25 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born January 6, 1944 in Roswell, N. Mex. to Lt. Col. Albert C. Parkes and Frances McClure Parkes. She graduated from high school in Dayton, Ohio and attended the University of Arkansas. She was married to Bruce Jones, who was principal at the Marked Tree School for 11 years. Mrs. Jones worked for the Marked Tree Tribune newspaper. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 50 years; two daughters, Jacqueline Tiarks and husband, Ron, of Bentonville and Janelle Tuckmantel and husband, Ken, of Boiling Springs, S. C.; one brother Albert Parks Jr. and wife, Pamela, of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Noah Tiarks of Bentonville and Hailey and Riley Tuckmantel of Boiling Springs, S.C.; three step-grandchildren, Crystal Tiarks of Fayetteville, Tristan Tiarks and wife, Kesa, of Conway and Nathan Tiarks of Conway; and four step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. A private interment will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy, Bentonville, AR 72712.
