The EPC Warriors (5-0, 2-0 2A-3) continue to roll on the season as they downed Midland 43-14 this past Friday night in Lepanto. Aaron Scales continued to stay hot for the Warriors by throwing for 186 yards and three scores and adding a touchdown rushing. Clay Malone threw for a touchdown pass and also had a touchdown reception. Tavius Dancy hauled in two touchdown passes as TJ Young had a touchdown rushing and receiving. Kyler Gordon rushed for 80 yards on the night. Matt Ferguson had a stellar night on defense with 15 tackles, three quarterback sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered them both. Scales finished with eight tackles.

Harrisburg (1-4, 0-2 4A-3) fell to Pocahontas 48-14 this past Friday night in high school football action. Connor Haag finished with 132 yards passing with a touchdown and also added a touchdown rushing. Dillon Russell caught six passes for 108 yards and a touchdown for the Hornets.

Marked Tree (2-3, 0-2 2A-3) lost to Earle 44-13 this past Friday night in Earle.

Marked Tree's Junior Indians got two touchdown passes from Julian Booker but it wasn't enough as Walnut Ridge came out with a 24-14 win in junior high football action last Thursday in Walnut Ridge. Gavin Lowry and Paul Coleman each had a touchdown reception for Marked Tree.

EPC downed Cross County 14-8 with a late touchdown pass.

Harrisburg lost a tough fought battle to Highland 6-0.
