Connor Haag rushed for 303 yards and five touchdowns as Harrisburg (2-7, 1-5 4A-3) beat Brookland 45-28 this past Friday in Harrisburg. Haag also added 95 yards passing and a touchdown pass on the night. Dillon Russell finished with 64 yards receiving and a touchdown. Walker Hammond had a big night for the Hornets defense with 16 tackles and two forced fumbles. Haag and Russell each had an interception.
EPC(8-1, 5-1 2A-3) defeated Marked Tree (5-4, 3-3 2A-3) 46-12 this past Friday in Marked Tree in a match-up of county rivals. Aaron Scales led the Warriors offense with 130 yards rushing and three touchdowns while passing for 183 yards and two more touchdowns. Kyler Gordon finished with 80 yards rushing and a touchdown. Quin Young had 92 yards receiving with two touchdowns as Clay Malone had 91 yards receiving. Malone had 13 tackles for the Warriors defense. Scales and Zack Maddox both finished with 12 tackles each. Matt Ferguson finished with 10 tackles along with three sacks on the night. Octavious Dean finished with 77 yards passing and a touchdown for Marked Tree. Cameron Mitchell led the Indians in rushing with 45 yards and also had 50 yards receiving. Tevin McGee had a touchdown rushing as D'Angelo Griffin Daniel had a touchdown receiving.
Harrisburg's Junior Hornets fell to Gosnell in their season ending game 28-8 at Gosnell.
