TRUMANN - Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth "Nandy" McClung of Trumann died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 87. Mrs. McClung was born in Hazen, Ark. and had lived most of her lifetime in Trumann, and was formerly of Harrisburg. She was a retired bookkeeper for Ray's Tire Service, a charter member of Daytime Bridge Club established in 1955, member of the First United Methodist Church where she previously taught Sunday School and was involved with the Girl Scouts. Mrs. McClung was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. McClung, Sr.; one grandchild, Wade McClung; and her parents Harry Winfield and Mildred Fischer Bowman.
She is survived by two daughters, Beth and husband George Nunnally of Bentonville and Suellen and husband Robert Lloyd of Edgemont, Ark.; three sons, Ray A. "Randy" and wife Barbara McClung, Gary and wife Vicki McClung and Alan and wife Jamie McClung all of Trumann; one sister, Mary Davenport of Memphis, Tenn..; 13 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services were March 9 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Weaver officiating. Graveside services were March 10 Hazen Cemetery in Hazen, Ark.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
